Gilgit-Baltistan Government Regularizes Positions by the order of Chief Court
In compliance with the
Gilgit-Baltistan Chief Court's order, the Government of Gilgit-Baltistan has
regularized the appointments of six key officers. This follows a significant
court ruling (Petition No. 485/2022, dated 07-11-2023) that mandated the
regularization of these positions based on the recommendations of the Courts
Service Review Committee.
Regularized
Positions Include:
- Mr. Sohail Ahmed Fida
– Research Officer (M&E/BPS-17)
- Mr. Mohammad Zaheer-ud-Din – Research Officer (BPS-17)
- Mr. Farhat Hussain
– Research Officer (Civil/BPS-17)
- Mr. Muhammad Azam
– Research Officer (Statistics/BPS-17)
- Mr. Muhammad Nabeel Khan – Research Officer (GIS/BPS-17)
- Mr. Sajid Ullah Baig – Research Officer (Electrical/BPS-17)
These regularizations are a direct
implementation of judicial oversight aimed at reinforcing the administrative
framework within Gilgit-Baltistan, enhancing governance, and ensuring legal
compliance in public service appointments.
