Oil & Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL), a leading E&P (Exploration and Production) company based in Islamabad, Pakistan, is currently seeking a qualified and experienced professional for the position of Chief Development Geologist in EG-VI. This is an exciting opportunity for experienced geologists to join a dynamic team in the energy sector.

Qualifications & Experience

To be considered for this position, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Educational Background: M.Sc/B.S. (4-year) Degree in Geology from an HEC-recognized university. Foreign degrees require an HEC equivalency certificate.
• Professional Experience: Minimum 12 years in the E&P sector, with 8 years of hands-on experience as a Development Geoscientist/Geo-modeler.
• Strong expertise in static reservoir modeling, field development, structural interpretation, fracture characterization, facies analysis, geo-modeling workflows, and volumetric estimation.
• Proficiency in Brown Field Revival through development wells and a thorough understanding of geology, geophysics, petrophysics, and reservoir simulation.

Key Skills & Expertise Required

• Static Reservoir Modeling and Geology: Capable of constructing detailed reservoir models and performing structural interpretations.
• Advanced Geo-modeling: Skilled in geological workflows and volumetric estimations for reservoir characterization.
• Field Development and Fracture Characterization: Experience with complex structural and reservoir geology.
• Uncertainty Analysis: Competent in analyzing data uncertainties and risk mitigation.
• Brown Field Revival: Proven track record in reviving mature fields.

Employment Terms

• Contract Duration: Three years, extendable upon mutual consent.
• Age Limit: Maximum of 45 years.
