Pakistan Television Corporation Limited (PTVC), the largest and most established television network in Pakistan, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) on a contract basis. The position is initially for one year, extendable upon satisfactory performance.

Job Description

The Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) at PTVC will oversee all commercial activities, including sales, marketing, business development, and revenue generation. The CCO will play a strategic role in expanding PTVC’s market share, enhancing revenue, and aligning commercial goals with the company’s vision. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the CCO will lead initiatives to optimize business performance across both broadcast and digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute commercial strategies that align with PTVC's objectives for revenue growth and market expansion.
  • Lead sales teams to maximize revenue from advertising, sponsorships, and strategic partnerships.
  • Oversee negotiations with advertisers, media buyers, and corporate sponsors to secure high-value deals.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to enhance brand awareness and audience engagement through integrated campaigns.
  • Align marketing goals with content programming to meet audience preferences.
  • Identify new revenue models, including digital advertising, subscription services, and content licensing.
  • Optimize pricing, revenue streams, and sales channels for maximum profitability.
  • Conduct market research and utilize data-driven insights to stay competitive in the media landscape.
  • Explore new markets, including mobile, OTT, and international media platforms.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop sales and marketing teams to achieve performance goals.
  • Maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, including advertisers, clients, government bodies, and industry regulators.

Job Specifications

Qualification: Minimum 16 years of education in Marketing or Business Management.

Experience: At least 15 years in the media industry with relevant expertise in executing commercial strategies.

Skills Required

  • Proven record in revenue growth and strategic leadership in media or advertising sectors.
  • Expertise in broadcast and digital media, including advertising and content monetization.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with an ability to inspire diverse teams.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical skills to utilize data in decision-making and strategy development.

Competencies: Strategic Vision, Business Acumen, Financial Savvy, Innovation, and Market Awareness.
