Exciting Opportunity: Treasurer Position at University of the Punjab, Lahore (Advertisement No. 3/2024)
The University of the Punjab, Lahore, one of Pakistan's premier academic institutions, has announced an exciting job opportunity under Advertisement No. 3/2024. Applications are invited from qualified Pakistani nationals for the post of Treasurer (BPS-20). This position is offered on a three-year contract (non-extendable).

Qualifications & Experience Required
The post of Treasurer requires one of the following combinations of qualifications and professional experience:
- PhD in Finance, Commerce, Accounting, Auditing, or Economics with 8 years post-qualification experience at BPS-17 or higher.
- OR
- MS/MPhil in the relevant fields with 10 years post-qualification experience at BPS-17 or above.
- OR
- MBA (Finance), M.Com, ACCA, ACMA, or MSc (Economics) with 12 years of post-qualification experience at BPS-17 or higher.
In all cases, the degrees must be recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC).
Terms and Conditions
- Candidates are required to submit online applications only. No hard-copy submissions will be accepted.
- The onus of providing correct data rests on the candidate, and applications should be submitted according to the guidelines provided on the official website.
- Shortlisted candidates will be contacted for tests or interviews. No TA/DA will be provided.
- If the candidate is already serving in a government position, a No Objection Certificate (NOC) will be required.
- A non-refundable application processing fee of Rs. 6000/- must be deposited in any branch of HBL or UBL.
