National Bank of Pakistan, a leading bank in the country, is seeking talented and experienced professionals for the position of Branch Operations Manager (OG-II/OG-I) in its Operations department. This is a contractual position for three years, renewable at the discretion of the management.

Position/Job Title Branch Operations Manager (OG-II/OG-I)
Reporting to Regional Executive Operations
Educational/Professional Qualification Minimum Graduation or equivalent from a local or international university/college/institute recognized by the HEC. Candidates having a Master's degree and/or relevant diploma/certification will be preferred.
Experience Minimum 03 years of branch banking experience, out of which 01 year as Branch Operations Manager or in a similar role.

Outline of Main Duties/Responsibilities
  • Manage overall branch operations and coach staff for excellent customer service.
  • Adhere to TAT/SOPs in processing customer requests (account opening, transactions).
  • Monitor cash management as per SBP regulations; act as custodian of cash limits and transactions.
  • Reconcile accounts for disbursements, collections, receipts, and initial payments.
  • Manage branch security systems (guarding, alarms, CCTV).
  • Ensure timely and accurate accruals and liquidation of income/expenses.
  • Monitor and authorize daily financial/non-financial transactions within limits.
  • Ensure timely resolution of customer queries/complaints; monitor complaint box daily.
  • Escalate critical matters to reporting authority.
  • Ensure minimum audit rating and prompt rectification of audit/compliance/AML/CFT irregularities.
  • Provide timely responses to Law Enforcement Agencies and Regulatory Bodies.
  • Prepare and share performance records and MIS with Regional Executive Operations.
  • Ensure timely performance appraisals and feedback discussions; provide staff training.
  • Manage cash and branch vault opening/closing.
  • Monitor issue resolution and service delivery across internal business partners.
  • Reconcile NBP general accounts, NOSTRO/VOSTRO, FE-25 accounts with SBP.
  • Assist in annual branch budget development and monitor compliance.
  • Facilitate locker operations and maintain records.
  • Supervise periodic cash requirement development and daily cash balance management.
  • Ensure ATM and CCTV functionality.
  • Perform other assigned duties.
Place of Posting Abbottabad, Bannu, Dera Ghazi Khan, Gilgit, Gwadar, Jhang, Jhelum, Mansehra, Mianwali, Mirpur AK, Rawalakot, and Sahiwal.
